The University of Lahore aspires to become a nationally and internationally recognized university

that distinguishes itself as a leader in higher education, known for outstanding ethical and moral

values, excellence and innovation in teaching, learning outcomes, and student experience in creativity,

research, and entrepreneurship.

MISSION

The mission of the Department of Electrical Engineering is to prepare a pool of human

resource that could contribute in the development and progress of the nation. As an

engaged, productive and effective member of society,can display mastery in the core

competence in the area of electrical engineering,think critically,

communicate clearly, and can solve problems creatively with lifelong learning traits.

The department has switched over to a system of educational objectives and have linked each programs outcome with the objectives.

Graduates of the Electrical Engineering Program can find employment in a wide variety of electrical

engineering fields. and can further their qualification to pursue careers in research, industrial

organizations, business, or other areas. Regardless of their selected career path, it is believed that an

education in electrical engineering would prepare them for a productive professional experience, and

thus the department strives to provide them with the technical, team-working, communication, and

modern professional skills necessary for success.

Program Educational Objectives of the Electrical Engineering Program will  produce graduates who would.

1. Utilize knowledge of mathematics, sciences and engineering, problem solving

    techniques and design skills (Modern Tools) to solve complex engineering problems related to the         field of electrical engineering.

2. Exhibit effective communication in multi-disciplinary teams, and leadership

    qualities as complement to technical competence.

3. Maintain a desire for innovation, creativity and lifelong learning and continue to

   improve technical and non-technical competence through engagement in

   professional activities, projects and/or graduate studies.

4. Recognize ethical, social, and professional responsibilities and act accordingly

   within a societal and global context.
